Education & Research
Upon successfully completing his MSc training Dr. Indika was invited to join the faculty at the University of Manchester where he taught on the Fixed and Removable prosthodontics course. In addition, he is a unit lead and examiner on the distant learning Restorative & Aesthetic MSc program at the University of Manchester.
He has publications in the Primary Dental Care journal, European Journal of Prosthodontics & Restorative Dentistry and the British Dental Journal;
Following his move back to Sri Lanka, he was appointed an Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry and continues to function as a lecturer and unit lead on the Restorative & Aesthetic MSc program.
The Restorative & Aesthetic M.Sc. program is a world renowned postgraduate program. Dr Indika is a lecturer on this and regularly travels to the UK to teach clinical dentistry to graduate dentists.
He has been a guest lecturer and speaker at the University of Peradeniya and Sri Lanka College of General Dental Practitioners Conference.
